Pizza has become one of the favorite dishes of Poles many years ago. No wonder that we have successfully adopted Italian and American pizzerias, as well as all other varieties of this cake with various toppings. When it comes to making a pizza, an important element is the oven in which it will be prepared. In the case of domestic conditions, it is most often an electric or gas stove, but in restaurants you can also choose wood-fired and charcoal-fired stoves. However, the most universal and popular is the electric pizza oven, and we want to focus on it above all in this article.

GP | Electric pizza oven - construction and method of operation
An electric stove is present in almost every home kitchen. Gas cookers are rarely used today, because electric cookers are very functional and effective, and at the same time safer. The construction of a typical electric furnace is relatively simple.

The electric furnace consists of the main chamber, fans, special heaters and additional equipment which is optional. The electric pizza oven looks similar, with the difference that its structure is adapted to typical pizza baking, and moreover, it has forced air circulation, which allows for even baking of the dough and the ingredients on the dough.

The electric pizza oven has been designed and constructed to allow very even baking, both in terms of heat distribution and its generation. As a result, the pizza comes out crispy but not toasted, the cheese is properly melted and browned, and the ingredients are hot but not baked.

GP | Electric pizza oven - advantages and disadvantages and possibilities
An electric pizza oven, like anything else, has its advantages and disadvantages. Let's start with the disadvantages that are not many. First of all, an electric stove is neutral in terms of taste and, unfortunately, aroma. Pizza from a wood-fired oven has a completely different aroma, if you bake it in an electric oven, you have to add spices and aromatic ingredients to it. Another disadvantage is the high cost of using the electric furnace. Unfortunately, electricity is relatively expensive, therefore its use will require greater financial outlays. This is where the bigger disadvantages of the electric pizza oven end. Therefore, it is worth mentioning the advantages:

  • the electric pizza oven does not require the use of ventilation and chimney ducts, it is enough to simply remove warm air, for example an ordinary hood with a carbon filter,
  • the electric furnace is a functional furnace, all you need is power to be able to use it freely,
  • the electric furnace can be very precisely temperature controlled, which allows precise furnace, without the risk of burning or undercooking,
  • the electric stove does not require special maintenance, only regular cleaning,
  • the installation of an electric stove does not require large financial outlays in the form of flue gas discharge or additional ventilation ducts and ducts.

As you can see, the advantages of an electric stove are much more than disadvantages, hence its great popularity.

The electric pizza oven can be used anywhere. Both in small eateries, as well as in large pizzerias. It is the simplest and often the best choice for a pizza oven, it does not require any special expenditure to prepare the station, and at the same time allows you to bake a delicious pizza.
