The refrigerated display case is a device that, as the name suggests, combines the cooling function, i.e. it has the ability to lower the temperature to a certain level, as well as the display function. The refrigerated display case is the device that is most often found:

  • in small eateries, where there are various starters or supplements to meals,
  • in pubs and bars,
  • in grocery stores, where perishable products are most often stored,
  • in cafes, bakeries and confectioneries, where cakes, tasty snacks or products that have or themselves deteriorate quickly at room temperature are most often presented,
  • in pet stores, where live baits or food for animals are stored in refrigerated display cabinets.


Therefore, it is an extremely functional device, and the number of different types and types of refrigerated display cases is huge. Some sites offer the possibility of zonal temperature management, where zones are only a few centimeters apart and can vary significantly in temperature. Such display windows are especially used in the confectionery and bakery industry, where too low temperature may lead to loss of flavor, and too high temperature may spoil the product.

 

Refrigerated display cases are the most frequently used refrigeration equipment after refrigerators in the broadly understood gastronomy and food industry.
