When it comes to starting a restaurant operation, it is quite a financial and organizational challenge. The biggest expense is of course the full equipment , which must be prepared in tip top condition. For this reason, many companies decide to open small eateries with one or two tables inside and the food is served to go. Nevertheless, if someone decides to restaurant, they must take into account the cost of several hundred thousand zlotys.

Catering equipment includes all equipment, furniture, kitchen equipment, restaurant room equipment and all facilities. When it comes to costs, they depend largely on the quantity, type and quality of the equipment and the item of equipment. Most often, however, they reach up to PLN 200,000, and depending on the size of the restaurant, they may be higher.

Surely equipping the kitchen and kitchen facilities is very expensive, but saving in this regard is certainly not a good solution. The purchase of cheaper equipment, inferior quality furniture, poor dishwashers or poor cold stores or refrigerators will quickly have a negative impact on the use of the entire kitchen.

If we are already looking for savings in terms of equipping the entire restaurant, we can definitely save a bit on additional equipment. Here and so with time it will have to be refilled, but without additional auxiliary equipment the restaurant will function and we will save money on commissioning. It is definitely not worth saving on:

  • gastronomy equipment for the preparation of meals, stoves, gas hobs, ice-creamers;
  • furnishing a restaurant room, where savings will be quickly noticed by the clientów
  • equipment related to tableware, dishes and pots necessary to prepare meals.
